We are a church of misfits and imperfect people. We are rough around the edges and don’t always talk with beautiful vocabulary. We are about as real and ordinary as you will find. And that’s how we know that what’s happening at StoneWater is purely a work of God. What we have found, in our short time of existence, is that God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things.
StoneWater is a different kind of church. Don’t get freaked out when I say different, we don’t swing on chandeliers or run around and act crazy, but we do wear shorts and flip flops in church, eat donuts, and play some rockin’ music. We are a church that desires to walk along side the family and equip them to follow Jesus Christ. We are a church that strongly values the role of men. We are a church that thinks BIG and has huge plans to multiply the Kingdom through Church Planting. We are a church that likes change and that is not afraid to take risks. We are a church that recognizes that all we have and all we are is because of the grace of an almighty God whom we worship whether we are camping in the backcountry or worshiping together on Sunday morning.
